Are you spending more than you think?

Cartridges made by third-party suppliers are not all equal to original Lexmark cartridges and can actually cost you more. According to Buyers Laboratory (BLI)*, a leading independent test lab and business consumer advocate, the 46% lower average purchase price claimed for non-Lexmark remanufactured toner cartridges that were tested translated to a true cost that’s as much as 34% higher than original Lexmark cartridge! BLI concluded that the majority of non-Lexmark toner cartridges tested failed to deliver acceptable performance. Specifically, of the 688 cartridges tested:

• 56% of expected pages were printed, on average
• 22% experienced out of the box failures
• 19% exhibited cartridge reliability failures and/or print quality failures during life
• 20% caused printer fuser damage resulting in premature fuser replacement
